On November 8 at 1:00 PM CDT we hosted a session with field researchers Anna Baker (USGS), Shane Bowe (Red Lake Band Water Resources Program) and Dr. Adam Heathcote (Science Museum of Minnesota) who shared with us the field work they’ve done this year, looking at stream sediments in Rainy River and its tributaries, and algae toxins in the St Croix watershed, and studying wild rice in the Northwest Angle of Lake of the Woods.

MN) as they explore the ways in which climate change is already affecting the Rainy-Lake of the Woods basin.
